I read one novel when I was still a kid, but I read also some poems he translated into Croatian and he did an excellent job. I think you chose well.

I think I am going to start my Croatian poetry reading with Slamnig’s poems. In the beginning I will understand very little, almost nothing, but then things will change and little by little I will get to know his world. (That’s what I hope.)
